I am always drawn to shooting into the sun when there is water in my sight. I love the contrasts it creates, in this case the small stream winding its way through the mud at low tide in Gillan Creek. (Nikon D70, 2006)

An early morning stroll along Leblon Beach in Rio gave me the opportunity to compose this picture of the surf crashing on the beach behind one of the traditional coconut stalls set up to provide refreshments to the thristy beach goers (Nikon F80, Fuji Provia, 2007)
The old historical center of Budapest offers many photographic possibilities. This old door knocker caught my eye as we wandered in and around the old cobbled back streets. (Nikon D70)
